Sheriff’s Office Investigates Armed Robbery at J M Jewelers
(Bel Air, Md – November 15, 2005) — The Harford County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an armed robbery at J M Jewelers located at 2120 Blue Spruce Drive near Bel Air. The robbery occurred shortly before 5:00 p.m. Monday evening.
Two black males entered the stored and forced the owner, Ed Milad and Steven Kornya, a FedEx delivery employee, at gunpoint into a bathroom where they were restrained and locked in the restroom in the rear of the store.
The suspects took more than $500,000 worth of precious jewels and gems before fleeing. No injuries were reported.
The suspects were described as follows:
- Suspect #1 – Black male, approximately 35 – 38 years-of-age; medium build; 5’6’’ – 5’10’’ weighing approximately 220 lbs. The suspect wore a black leather coat and black cap with black pants.
- Suspect #2 – black male in his early 20’s; 5’ 7” slight build, 150 – 155 lbs. Suspect #2 wore a light colored jacket (blue and white) with dark jeans and white sneakers.
