Suspect Uses Corporate Credit Card to Buy $34,000 Worth of Lottery Tickets
[March 22, 2014, Abingdon, MD] - Harford County Sheriff's detectives have charged Frank Michael Figinski, 47, with theft over $10,000 and under $100,000, and theft scheme over $10,000 and under $100,000, for his role in using his employer's company credit card to purchase over $34,000 in lottery tickets.
On March 6, 2014, representatives from Stella Maris Inc. reported to Sheriff's detectives that Figinski, who was a long-time employee of their company, used a company issued credit card over 200 times between May 2012 and February 2013 to purchase Maryland Lottery tickets from an Abingdon 7-11. The estimated amount of the theft is $34,947.
Figinski, of 2144 Kyle Green Road, Abingdon, was criminally charged on March 17th and is currently pending trial.
