Man injured in Altercation in Aberdeen

[August 25, 2011, Aberdeen, MD] - Shortly before 11pm on Wednesday, August 24, 2011, Harford County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to a 911 call in the 200 block of Mayberry Drive in Aberdeen, MD. The caller indicated that there was an injured male bleeding profusely from his head.

Upon arrival, deputies located the victim, Patrick Pollard, age 31 of Ozone Park, New York. Original reports indicated that he had been shot in the head. Pollard was treated at the scene by Aberdeen Volunteer Fire Department and flown by Maryland State Police Trooper 1 to the University of Maryland R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center.
