(Bel Air, MD – August 21, 2008) – Harford County Sheriff’s deputies have arrested Dwayne G. Everett, 47, of the 1200 block of Cleveland Street, Baltimore, MD, in connection with a theft of copper on August 16, 2008 which occurred at Harford Community College.

Detectives from the Northern Precinct Investigations Unit confirmed Everett is a worker at the site of a building under construction at Harford Community College. Everett did not have permission to enter the site on August 16, 2008. However, witnesses observed Everett enter the construction site and cut the copper into smaller pieces. Everett later admitted to the detectives he was involved in the theft.

Everett was taken to the Harford County Detention Center where he was processed, then released on his own recognizance after a hearing with a District Court Commissioner.
