Human Bones Ruled Anatomical Specimen
(Bel Air, MD – July 1, 2008) — Harford County Sheriff’s deputies investigating the discovery of human bones located in a shed, previously used as a chicken coop in the Northern region of Harford County, have ruled out foul play.
The bones were transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore for further analysis. A preliminary examination indicated the bones were most likely used as a tool in a teaching environment. Additional testing confirmed the bones were an anatomical specimen, most likely used as a teaching prop or in an educational setting.
