Warrant Issued For Suspect In Connection with Shooting in Edgewood

(Edgewood, MD. – June 14, 2008) — Harford County Sheriff’s deputies have identified a suspect in connection with the shooting death of Taurean Philip Williams, 18, of Edgewood, MD and the shooting of a Timothy Patrick Williams, 20, of Edgewood, MD which occurred early this Saturday morning. Harford County Sheriff’s Office detectives have identified and obtained a warrant for the arrest of Gary Dashawn Davenport, 29 of the 1700 block of Fountain Rock Way, Edgewood, MD on charges of 1st degree murder, attempted 1st degree murder, 1st degree assault, reckless endangerment, and using a handgun in the commission of a crime of violence.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Gary Dashawn Davenport is urged to contact Harford County 9-1-1 or the Harford County Sheriff's Office at 410-838-6600. Harford County Crime Solvers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest of Gary Dashawn Davenport. To be eligible for the reward, tipsters must call the 24 hour tip line at 1-888-540-TIPS. Callers do not have to give their name nor appear in court. All information will be kept strictly confidential.
