250 Gallons of Gasoline Stolen

(Abingdon, MD – May 13, 2008) — Harford County Sheriff’s deputies are seeking information regarding the person or persons responsible for stealing 250 gallons of gasoline from Boyle Buick, 3015 Emmorton Road, Abingdon, MD.

Sometime between the hours of 5:00 pm Saturday, May 3rd and 8:00 am Monday May 5th, unknown suspects damaged the padlock giving them access to the handle and pump of a storage tank. Approximately 250 gallons of gasoline were stolen and carried away in an unknown container.

A second attempt to steal gasoline was discovered Monday May 12, 2008 however, the suspects were unsuccessful.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Harford County Sheriff’s Office Northern Precinct at 410-692-7880. Additionally, Harford County Crime Solvers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest of the persons responsible for the vandalism. To be eligible for the reward, tipsters must contact the tip-line at 1-888-540-TIPS. All information will be keep strictly confidential.
