Two Moving Vehicles Struck by Unknown Projectiles

(Fallston, MD – March 23, 2008) — Harford County Sheriff’s Deputies are seeking information regarding the person or persons responsible for striking two moving vehicles in the area of Route 152 near Rutledge Road in Fallston.

On March 23, 2008 at approximately 10:24 pm, deputies were called to the area of Route 152 and Rutledge Road for two vehicles that had just been struck by unknown objects. The first vehicle, a 2000 Ford Tow Truck, was traveling north bound on Route 152 when it was struck by an unknown projectile in the driver’s side window. The projectile penetrated the window and struck the driver who was the sole occupant of the vehicle. The driver suffered a superficial wound and did not require medical treatment at the scene.

The second vehicle, a 2007 Toyota SUV, while traveling north bound on Route 152 was struck by an unknown projectile in the passenger side rear door. Both occupants of the vehicle were uninjured.

Additional deputies responded to the area and conducted an extensive search; however, they were unable to locate any suspects.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Harford County Sheriff’s Office Northern Precinct at 410-692-7880. Additionally, Harford County Crime Solvers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest of the persons responsible for the vandalism.
