Sheriff’s Deputies Seeking Assistance Identifying Armed Robbery Suspect

(Harford County, MD – September 12, 2007) — Harford County Sheriff’s Office Deputies are seeking assistance in identifying a male who committed an armed robbery at a local convenience store on Sunday September 9, 2007, shortly after 11:30 p.m.

After receiving a 911 call Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the 7-11 Store located in the 3500 block of Philadelphia Road in Abingdon. Upon arrival deputies determined a male suspect had entered the business under the pretense of making a purchase. The male suspect brought items to the counter and displayed a knife to the clerk. While making his demands the male lunged towards the clerk with the knife. The clerk complied with the suspect’s request then the suspect left the business with an undisclosed amount of money. The clerk sustained no injures.

The suspect is described as a white male, brown hair, with heavy whisker growth, 5’3” to 5’7 ” tall, and 150-170 lbs. Sheriff’s Office Detectives are attempting to identify the male in the attached photograph.
