Man Found Dead in Motel Room
(Aberdeen, MD – August 19, 2007) — Sheriff's Deputies were dispatched to the Keyser Motel located in 1300 block of Pulaski Highway in Aberdeen late Saturday evening for a reported burglary and check on the well being of an occupant in a motel room.
Upon arrival at 11:36 p.m. deputies observed the front door to motel room to be partially open. Once deputies entered the motel room they discovered the victim lying on the floor. The victim was unresponsive and determined to be deceased by deputies. The 26 year old black male victim suffered trauma to the upper torso.
The victim was transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner where an autopsy will be performed to determine the cause of death. The identity of the victim is being withheld at this time pending notification of the next of kin.
There are currently no suspects in this homicide. Investigators with the Harford County Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigation Division are conducting the investigation.
