Suspect Charged in ATM Robbery
(Harford County, MD August 14, 2007) — Shortly before 6:30 p.m. Harford County Sheriff's Deputies were contacted by a female who advised she was robbed at the Bank of America located in the 1000 block of Joppa Farm Road in Joppa, Maryland. The victim was utilizing the drive up ATM when she was approached by a male subject who demanded money. The suspect implied he had a weapon and was given an undisclosed amount of money. The suspect fled the area in a loud, dark colored vehicle.
Later in the evening approximately 11:00 p.m. the Maryland State Police handled a similar incident at the Aberdeen Proving Ground Credit Union, in the 1300 block of Pulaski Highway in Edgewood. A suspect vehicle description was broadcasted. Sheriff’s Deputies located the suspect vehicle and stopped the vehicle at Pulaski Highway and Mountain Road. The occupant of the vehicle was later identified as Henry Emil Blische, 45 of the 500 block of Trimble Road in Joppa. Blische was arrested by the Maryland State Police and subsequently charged by Sheriff Deputies for the earlier robbery.
Blische was charged with Armed Robbery and is currently incarcerated in the Harford County Detention Center in lieu of $200,000.00 bond. Blische will receive a bond review on Thursday August 16, 2007.
