Vandals Hit in the Early Morning Hours
(Belcamp, MD – April 3, 2007) — Shortly after 3:30 a.m. deputies were dispatched to the Riverside Community in Belcamp, Maryland in reference to a car being vandalized. Upon arrival in the area the deputies observed that numerous vehicles had been spray painted. The vandalisms were concentrated in the areas of Foxglove Court, Foxglove Square, and Arabis Court.
Due to the early hour some residents were not aware of their vehicles being vandalized. Deputies went door to door contacting residents and advising them of the damage to their vehicles. As of this press release the Sheriff’s Office has taken reports from 23 victims involving 47 vehicles.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Harford County Sheriff Office Southern Precinct at 410-612-1717. Additionally, Harford County Crime Solvers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest of the persons responsible for the vandalism. To be eligible for the reward, tipsters must contact the tip-line at 1-888-540-TIPS. All information will be keep strictly confidential.
