Suspect Attempts to Steal Vehicle by Knife-Point
Harford County Sheriffs Deputies are looking for the suspect involved in an assault and attempted vehicle theft that occurred in the 1600 block of Poole Road, Darlington, MD reported shortly after 7:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 24, 2007.
The victim was confronted at knife-point in their driveway when leaving for work, where the suspect demanded their vehicle. A struggle ensued where the victim was assaulted but managed to yell for help. The suspect was then last seen fleeing the area on foot. The victim did suffer minor injuries as a result of the assault.
The suspect is described as a late 20 to 30 year old light-complected black male, approximately 6’ to 6’-1”, having a slender build and deep voice. At the time of the crime, the suspect was wearing a black-hooded jacket, blue jeans and white sneakers.
