Taxi Driver Robbed at Gunpoint

Harford County Sheriffs Deputies are looking for the suspect involved in the armed robbery of a taxi driver in the 4000 block of Gravel Hill Road in Havre de Grace just before 9:30 p.m. on Monday, February 5, 2007.

The suspect, described as a black male wearing a ski mask, pulled up beside the taxi driver in a dark green older model Ford Crown Victoria with a black spotlight attached to the driver’s side post. Believing that the operator of the vehicle was a police officer, the taxi driver stopped and rolled down his window only to find a handgun pointed at him and his money demanded by the suspect. The taxi driver complied with the suspect’s demands by turning over his money, with the suspect last seen speeding off toward Paradise Road.

No injury was suffered by the victim as a result of the robbery.
