Sheriffs Deputies Investigate Suspicious Subject

Unknown Male Followed Juvenile from Her Place of Employment

(Bel Air, MD – November 22, 2006) — Harford County Sheriffs Deputies are investigating a suspicious incident involving an unknown male stalking a 16 year-old female. The incident occurred on Monday, November 13, 2006 shortly after the youngster left her place of employment in the Greenbrier Shopping Center near Bel Air.

Investigators are looking for a white male, approximately 5’ 8 “ tall with grayish white hair, approximately 60 years of age with some facial hair and a “pot belly”. The subject was driving a dark red or maroon mid-size Nissan or Toyota pick-up truck. The vehicle did not have a cap on the bed.

The subject who is wanted for questioning approached the victim’s vehicle from the rear and began flashing the headlights. The subject followed the victim to her neighborhood and then stopped his truck directly in front of the victim’s car. The unknown male then exited the truck and approached the victim and attempted to open the driver’s door which was locked.

Fortunately the young girl did not open her door and was able to drive away without being injured.
