Fugitive Apprehended Near Bel Air

Wanted on Attempted Murder Charge

(Bel Air, MD – November 9, 2006) — Harford County Sheriffs Deputies have apprehended a fugitive wanted on a charge of attempted murder. Aaron Khamraj Singh, 25, of no fixed address, was apprehended late Wednesday night following a traffic stop in the 900 block of Grovesnor Lane in Bel Air. Singh attempted to flee on foot from deputies following the traffic stop, but was quickly apprehended without incident.

At the time of his arrest, Singh was wearing two pairs of pants. During the search incident to his arrest, Singh was found to have in his possession a quantity of cocaine in several small bags and other controlled dangerous substances. The estimated value of the drugs found in Singh’s possession was more than $1,000.

Singh was charged with armed robbery, attempted murder and possession of controlled dangerous substances with intent to distribute. He is currently being held in the Harford County Detention Center on no bond.
