Drug Arrests and Drug Seizure

(Harford County, MD) — As a result of an ongoing joint investigation detectives from the Harford County [Narcotics] Task Force have arrested several suspects and seized a quantity of narcotics from several arrests over the weekend.

On Thursday June 10,2004, members of the Task Force were conducting a surveillance on Jevon Hoke, 23, who lists multiple home addresses. Hoke was the target of joint investigation between the Harford County Task Force and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives into illegal drug trafficking. Through their investigation detectives knew Hoke was operating a Black Ford Explorer. Members of the Aberdeen Police Department initiated a traffic stop on Hole’s vehicle. Hoke fled from police and a brief chase ensued. Hoke ran from his car into the Swan Harbor Trailer Park where police apprehended him. Recovered from his car was a small quantity of marijuana.

In furthering their investigation, detectives executed search and seizure warrants at 1032 Willow Bend Road in Edgewood, 80 East Bel Air Avenue (Apt A 8) in Aberdeen and 824 D Windstream Way in Edgewood. Seized was approximately 11 ounces of cocaine, 1 pound of marijuana, the Black Ford Explorer, packaging material, scales and miscellaneous televisions and stereo equipment.

Three suspects were arrested: Jevon Hoke, 23, the subject of the investigation was charged with possession with intent to distribute cocaine and marijuana, possession of cocaine and marijuana, maintain a common nuisance and possession of controlled paraphernalia. DeMitrious Stephens, 27, and Jamie Hoke 23, both of 80 East Bel Air Ave in Aberdeen were each charged with possession with intent to distribute cocaine and marijuana, possession of cocaine and marijuana, maintain a common nuisance and possession of controlled paraphernalia.

Continuing their investigation into Hoke and as a follow up to his arrest on Thursday, Task Force members executed a search and seizure warrant on Saturday, June 12, 2004 at 55 Aberdeen Avenue in Aberdeen, Maryland. Hoke who had been arrested and charged on Thursday, had since been released and was seen exiting the target location. He was later stopped and arrested. Hoke was charged with conspiracy to distribute cocaine and trespassing. Members of the Aberdeen Police Department’s Special Response Team made a safe entry into the home. William Harrison Cain was arrested and charged with possession and possession with intent to distribute cocaine and maintaining a common nuisance. Seized was approximately 33 grams of cocaine and $3,300.00 cash. Cain was released on $10,000 bond; Jamie Hole was released on $50,000, and Jevon Hoke was released on $100,000 bond.
