Woman Shot in Abingdon

Investigation Underway to Determine Cause

(Abingdon, MD – October 17, 2006) — Harford County Sheriff’s Deputies are investigating shooting which occurred this evening at approximately 7:48 p.m. The incident happened at a home located in the 4000 block of Timothy Drive in Abingdon.

Julie Ann Reall, 34, sustained a single gunshot wound to the left chest. Her boyfriend discovered the victim on the floor in the master bedroom after he heard a gunshot.

Reall was treated at the scene by emergency medical personnel from the Abingdon Volunteer Fire Company and then was transported to the Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center in Baltimore. She is currently listed in serious condition.

The Harford County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division has begun an investigation into the circumstances of the shooting. Investigators have found no indication of foul play, although the investigation is continuing.
