Investigation of Double Homicide Continues

Identify of Victims Still Unknown

(Edgewood, Md. – September 15, 2006) — Harford County Sheriff’s Deputies continue the investigation of a double homicide in Edgewood. The crime was reported to the Sheriff’s Office at approximately 1:41 p.m. Thursday afternoon.

The bodies of two men were discovered in a condominium located in the 1300 block of Gold Meadow Way. A relative of victims discovered them when he came to visit.

The deceased were transported to the State Medical Examiner’s Office in Baltimore where an autopsy will be performed to determine the cause of death and identity of the two men. The victims are believed to be between the ages of 18 – 28.

Investigators spent the night meticulously processing the crime scene and interviewing neighbors and family members.

A motive for the murders is unknown at this time.

Persons with information regarding the double homicide on Gold Meadow Way in Edgewood are urged to contact the Harford County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division at 410-836-5408. Additionally, Harford County Crime Solvers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest of the person or persons responsible for the murders. To be eligible for the reward, tipsters must call the 24-hour tip-line at 1-888-540-TIPS. Callers do not have to give their name or appear in court. All information will be kept strictly confidential.
