Narcotics Raids Net Drugs and Arrests

(Harford County, MD) — The Harford County Task Force, conducted a month long series of drug raids, which have resulted in the arrest of 14 people and the seizure of crack, cocaine and marijuana. The following is a synopsis of those raids.

On January 7, 2004 the Task Force executed a search and seizure warrant at 76 East Bel Air Avenue in Aberdeen, Md. Detectives seized 20 bags of crack cocaine, a small piece of powdered cocaine, a small bag of marijuana, and several BB guns. Information had been received that guns were on the premises, which caused concern with this particular case. The BB guns recovered gave the appearance of real weapons. Arrested was Margie Ann Prim, 50, of 76 E Bel Air Ave. She was charged with possession w/intent to distribute crack cocaine, possession of paraphernalia, possession of marijuana and possession of crack, and maintaining a common nuisance.

On January 09, 2004, a search and seizure warrant was executed at 1910 A Edgewater Drive Edgewood. Seized from the home were 1 oz cocaine, 1 oz of crack, 3 grams of marijuana, and paraphernalia

Also, arrested was, Jethro Terry Allen, 24, of 3404 Curchville Road Aberdeen MD, and charged with possession w/intent to distribute crack cocaine, possession of crack, possession of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia, possession w/intent to distribute marijuana, and false statement to a police officer.

Also charged was Wendy E. Fundator35, with no known address charged with possession of crack cocaine, possession of paraphernalia, and false statement to a police officer. Imani Green, 26, of 1910 A Edgewater Drive, charged with possession w/intent to distribute crack cocaine, possession of crack, possession of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia, possession w/intent to distribute marijuana, and false statement to police officer. Michelle L. Dodson, 34, 1910 A Edgewater Drive, charged with possession w/intent to distribute crack cocaine, maintaining a common nuisance, possession of crack, possession of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia, and possession w/intent to distribute marijuana. Dante Fitzgerald, 25, of 708 Cedar Crest Ct Edgewood, charged with possession of marijuana and possession w/intent to distribute marijuana. Jovan Green, 25, of 1637 Essex town Circle, Baltimore, MD was charged with possession w/intent to distribute crack cocaine, possession of crack, possession of marijuana, and possession of paraphernalia.

On January 23, 2004, the Task Force served two search warrants, the first at 505 Candlewood Drive, Edgewood, MD. Arrested was Melissa Williams 31, of 505 Candlewood, Edgewood, MD. Williams was charged with possession with intent to distribute cocaine, possession of cocaine, possession of paraphernalia, and maintaining a common nuisance. Deandre Prather, 18, also of 505 Candlewood was charged with possession w/intent to distribute crack cocaine, possession of crack, possession of paraphernalia, and possession of firearm in a drug trafficking crime. Seized at the home was a.22 caliber handgun, 1/4 ounce of cocaine (packaged and ready for street delivery), and $1,700.00 cash.

The second search warrant was executed at 1610 Candlewood Court, Edgewood, MD. Arrested was Derrick Futrell, 25, of 1610 Candlewood, and Lisa Ann Copenhaver, 25, of the same address. Each were charged with possession w/intent to distribute cocaine, possession w/intent to distribute marijuana, possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana, and possession of a firearm in relation to a drug trafficking crime, and possession of paraphernalia. Police seized a.22 caliber handgun, 1/4-ounce cocaine, and 9 small bags of marijuana packaging material.

On January 30, 2004, Task Force detectives arrested Malik Alston, 21, of 410 Silverside Rd., Edgewood, MD and charged him with distribution of cocaine, possession of cocaine, possession w/intent to distribute cocaine, and resisting arrest. Alston was arrested after he sold drugs to undercover police officers. He was apprehended after a brief foot chase.

Also on January 30, 2004, detectives executed a search warrant at 442 Washington Street, Aberdeen, Maryland. Recovered were 34 ecstasy pills, with 1 1/2 ounce of crack cocaine. The cocaine was packaged for delivery and was hidden inside vegetable cans. Mario George Gaymon 24, of 372 Wainwright St., Newark, NJ was charged with possession and possession w/I intent to distribute cocaine, possession and possession w/intent to distribute MDMA (Ecstasy), maintaining a common nuisance, and false statement to a police officer. Kevin Hasan, 27, of 442 Washington Street Aberdeen, was charged with possession and possession w/intent to distribute cocaine, possession and possession w/intent to distribute MDMA (Ecstasy), and maintaining a common nuisance.

Narcotics detectives executed a search warrant at119 B Hanover Street, Aberdeen, on February 7, 2004. Arrested were Lakeisa Stanley, 20, of 119 B Hanover Street, who was charged with possession of marijuana, maintaining a common nuisance, and two juveniles: one 17 yr old and one 16 yr old, both charged with possession w/intent to distribute heroin, possession w/intent to distribute crack cocaine, and possession of heroin, crack, and marijuana. Also recovered was a .32 caliber handgun and $450 in cash.

On Monday February 9, 2004, Task Force members arrested Stanley Porter, 22, and Randi Britton (female), 21, both of 2010 Starr, Edgewood. Investigation by the Task Force resulted in charging them with possession and possession w/intent to distribute marijuana and maintaining a common nuisance.

On February 17, 2004, the Task Force assisted by Sheriff’s Office Patrol units executed a search and seizure warrant at 2026 Rockwell Street, Edgewood, MD. Detectives seized 22 bags of crack cocaine, 1/1/2 oz of marijuana, and packaging materials. Police arrested Jovonte D. Robinson, 24, 2026 Rockwell St. in Edgewood, and charged him with possession w/ intent to distribute marijuana. His brother, Larry T. Robinson, 21, having the same address was charged with possession w/intent to distribute crack cocaine.

"The citizens of Harford County are lighting up the tip line and the Task Force is relentless in responding to the calls. Those that wish to deal in the drug trade, pollute the neighborhoods and harm our loved ones should have no misunderstanding...Its only a matter of time before the Task Force comes calling," said the Commanding Officer of the Harford County Task Force.
