Investigators Confirm Bank Robberies Related
Two Bank Robberies in Past Week - Work of Same Suspect
(Bel Air, Md. – May 12, 2006) — Investigators with the Harford County Sheriff’s Office and Maryland State Police have confirmed that both bank robberies committed during the past week in the county are related . The first robbery occurred at the Madison Square Federal Savings Bank near Bel Air. The second robbery occurred at the BB& T Bank in Fallston. Investigators believe both crimes were committed by the same individual.
The suspect is a white male, approximately 25 – 30 years of age, 6’ – 6’ 2”, weighing approximately 270 – 300 pounds, brown eyes and dirty blonde hair, with no distinguishing marks or tattoos. The suspect is believed to be driving a white full-size multi-passenger Dodge van as shown in the attached flyer.
Anyone with information regarding either or both bank robberies are urged to contact either the Maryland State Police Bel Air Barrack at 410-879-2101 or the Harford County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division at 410-836-5428. Additionally, Harford County Crime Solvers is offering a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest of the person responsible for these robberies.
