Bank Robbed in Fallston

Lone Suspect Sought

(Fallston, Md. – May 11, 2006) — Criminal investigators with the Harford County Sheriff’s Office are investigating a bank robbery which occurred this morning at the BB & T Bank located at 2401 Baldwin Road in Fallston. The robbery was reported at approximately 9:10 a.m.

Investigators are searching for a white male, approximately 6’ and heavy set, wearing long shorts, a black short-sleeve T-shirt and red hat. The suspect entered the bank shortly after 9:00 a.m. and handed a teller a note indicating a robbery.

Several patrons and employees were in the bank at the time of the crime, none were injured.

Investigators believe the lone suspect fled in a white van with an undisclosed amount of money.

Anyone with information regarding the bank robbery is urged to contact the Harford County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division at 410-836-5428. Additionally, Harford County Crime Solvers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest of the robber.
