Two Men Robbed at Gunpoint in Joppatowne

(Bel Air, Md. – January 15, 2006) — The Harford County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an armed robbery of two men Saturday evening in Joppatowne. The incident occurred at approximately 8:15 p.m. in the 1200 block of Plaza Circle.

Brandon Alexander Lawrence, 18 and Joshua Lee Testerman, 18, both of Abingdon, were robbed by two black males as they were walking to a home on Plaza Circle. The suspects, one known as “Blaze” and the other known only as “Charles” placed a handgun to the head of both victims and then proceeded to take their wallets. The suspects got away with an undisclosed amount of currency.

Neither of the victims was injured.

The Criminal Investigation Division of the Harford County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the armed robbery. Anyone with information regarding the crime is asked to contact investigators at 410-838-6600.

Additionally, Harford County Crime Solvers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest of the persons responsible for the armed robbery. Tipsters must call the 24-hour tip-line at 1-888-540-TIPS to be eligible for the reward. Callers do not have to give their name and do not have to appear in court. All information will be kept strictly confidential.
